LSE-LCIA London Vis Pre-Moot, 5 - 7 March 2021

I am delighted to act as arbitrator at the LSE-LCIA London Vis Pre-Moot, 5 - 7 March 2021 as one of LCIA’s representatives.

I will be joined by Kate Cervantes - Knox of DLA Piper and Andrey Panov of Allen & Overy.

This year's problem is very topical and revolves around the development of a Covid-19 Vaccine.

The virtual Vis Pre-Moot will give students the advantage of practising in the same format as the main Vis Moot event which will also be held virtually in 2021 and enable volunteer arbitrators to conduct a hearing without any travel required.

The Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot is the world's leading law school competition in private international law, with the goal of fostering the study of international commercial law and international commercial arbitration.

The competition is named after Willem C. Vis, the General Director of the UNCITRAL at the time of promulgation of the Vienna Convention, and the parent of the Moot Court idea.
