This may seem a strange question to ask but not when it comes to measuring the height of the buildings in relation to the recent Advice Notes issued by the Ministry of Housing Communities and Local Government(MHCLG) following the establishment of the Independent Expert Advisory Panel (the Expert Panel).

Good News for there is now an additional 3.5 billion funding for non ACM cladding remediation works for buildings over 18m

Isn't this good news!

 

In fact isn't it excellent news!

 

On 10th February 2021 the Housing Secretary annouced that the government will pay for the removal of unsafe cladding for all leaseholders in high rise buildings, providing reassurance and protecting them from costs.

In carrying out external wall fire surveys I work in collaboration with Diamond & Co Diamond and Co who specialise in using non-destructive techniques wherever practicably possible to investigate external facades.

Non-destructive investigation methods for many reasons are cost effective least of all being that they do not require the repair of the building fabric and decorative finishes after the investigation has taken place.
